During this session, Joel will speak on the potential of the Tablet PC to enable student engagement in ways that were previously only imagined. In addition to detailing how the unique attributes of the Tablet PC facilitate learning engineering topics, he will also explore emerging cognitive tools such as concept/mind-mapping software and visualization software, both of which can be utilized to facilitate student collaboration and have implications for many disciplines.
