As an undergraduate Nick Pachis worked in the New Media Center for approximately 4 years assisting faculty and students with various multimedia projects and applications as well as serving as an FDI instructor and lab assistant. Upon graduation he started work with Online Course Systems where he continued his support role with Blackboard and various other academic systems. He continued his role as an FDI instructor with Blackboard, ePortfolio, and the new Scholar system.

Nick Pachis continues to present for FDI as a member of the IT Security team. He currently presents two security sessions, one for the PC and one for the Mac, as well as speaking in the general information session.

 

Nick Pachis currently holds the SANS/GIAC GCIH certification and is looking to further his education with a Masters of Science in Information Security Engineering.
