Marc has received a B.A. and M.A. in English from Virginia Tech, and is currently working on a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology. His interests are in writing and composition, having worked for 10 years in the English Department and University Writing Center. In addition, he studies science fiction, critical theory, critical pedagogy, and any other philosophical bent that piques his interest. Currently, he works for the Faculty Development Institute at VT as a website and course developer.

• Involved in the Virginia Tech Speculative Fiction Project for the Center for Applied Technology in the Humanities
