Microsoft PowerPoint Workshop Outline

Learning Assumptions:

Participants have basic mouse skills
Participants have basic knowledge of the Operating System

Educational Objectives:

Identify presentation design issues
Demonstrate use of PowerPoint "views" within presentations
Demonstrate instructional use of PowerPoint printing options
Provide hands-on-activities for participants to create their own presentation

Instructional Outcomes:

Participants will have familiarity with creating PowerPoint presentations
Participants will have familiarity using PowerPoint views
Participants will have familiarity with inserting objects, such as pictures and video clips
Participants will have familiarity with how to use the drawing tools
Participants will have familiarity with creating builds and applying transitions
Participants will have familiarity with how to convert PowerPoint presentations into a web-ready format.
