Web Searching and Metadata This workshop will
be offered as an online course, with support resources starting March
12, 2001 What should Webmasters know about search engines and metadata? Effective use of metadata is critical to ensure that your site's content is shown properly by a web search engine. Learn concepts and design features for successful web search results, using "Dublin Core" metatags. Review interface design methods for adding a search feature to your existing website. Campus resources, such as Ultraseek and Federated Search system will be reviewed.
