What should Webmasters know about search engines and metadata?

Effective use of metadata is critical to ensure that your site's content is shown properly by a web search engine.

Learn concepts and design features for successful web search results, using "Dublin Core" metatags. Review interface design methods for adding a search feature to your existing website.

Campus resources, such as Ultraseek and Federated Search system will be reviewed.

Prerequisite: Experience with web authoring; Skill level: Intermediate
