User Centered Design of Web Sites and Web Applications

This workshop will discuss a user centered design approach for
the development of web sites and web applications.

Emphasis is put on iterative design through repeated user testing
and other usability evaluation methods like surveys, expert reviews etc.

There will be a demonstration of a usability test. Available campus resources, such as an online survey creation tool and the WARD web usability lab will also be discussed.

Prerequisite: Experience with web authoring; Skill level: Beginner
