  Workshop Description  
  Are you already familiar with basic web page creation with Dreamweaver 8 and would like to learn how to extend the capabilities of your web site? This short course picks up where “Dreamweaver 8 (Part One) left off by illustrating and providing hands-on experiences with several strategies for controlling the look and feel of larger web sites. Site management capabilities will be explored along with the following topics: frames, advanced tabling, image maps, color selection, jump menus, and more. Hands-on activities will be an integral part of this session. Bring a zip or floppy disk so you can take your creations with you once this workshop is over.

Workshop Assumptions:
1. Participants will have participated in the Dreamweaver MX 2004 (Part One) course or have similar experience.
2. Participants should have created a basic web page.
3. Participants should have a basic knowledge of web page creation and uploading files to servers.

Workshop Objectives:
1. Provide advice on and examples of good site management.
2. Offer hands-on opportunities for participants to create frame-based websites, image maps, jump menus, and more.
3. Highlight some best practices for developing websites with tables and the aforementioned "building blocks."

Instructional Outcomes:

1. Participants will be able to create a multi-paged website.
2. Participants will know how to create and manage a well-organized website.
3. Participants will be able to set up a webpage using frames.
4. Participants will have a more advanced grasp on tables and their use.
5. Participants will be able to create image maps and jump menus.
