  Workshop Description  
  Continuing where Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Part One) left off, this short course will begin with an overview of the selection techniques that make it possible to manipulate a specific section of a digital image. Participants will learn how to move/transform a selection, add specific touches to an image, and apply filters to achieve special effects. Emphasis will also be placed upon selection techniques and managing/creating multiple layers. Participants will be provided with sample images, and hands-on opportunities to explore the functionality of the aforementioned tools will be an integral attribute of this session.

Workshop Assumptions:
1. Participants have needs to work with layers of digital images.
2. Participants have prior experience with desktop computers.
3. Participants have prior experience with Photoshop.

Workshop Objectives:
1. Explore various selection techniques.
2. Discuss key imaging topics, including layers, effects, styles, and automation.
3. Discuss design issues as they relate to images and art work on-line.
4. Provide opportunities for participants to edit their images using Adobe Photoshop CS.

Instructional Outcomes:
1. Participants will have an understanding of the potential selection tools and techniques of Photoshop CS.
2. Participants will have a basic understanding of layer styles using Adobe Photoshop CS.
3. Participants will be able to use filter manipulating effects.
4. Participants will be able to create and work with multiple layers.
