Making a Quiz Available
- Select "Assessment Tools" under Assessment
- Here you will see a listing of all the quizzes and surveys that you
have created. Note that the status of the quiz you just created is "Not
Available." (if you followed the instructions! )
- Select "Update" for the quiz that you just created.
- On the page that comes up, Assessment Availability, you will see a
simple radio button choice to make the quiz available to students. When
"Yes" is selected students can take the quiz so this option must only
be changed at the time that is intended to make it available. Once the
period of time has elapsed for taking the quiz, do NOT reset the quiz
to "No" for this will remove your data from the Gradebook. The quizzes
will be stored under "Assignments" and you can remove them at this location
so your students will not be able to access them.
- At the Availability Options you can select your quiz under the assignments
button and can make the quiz unavailable when you choose.
Now click the "Return to Course" button and take the quiz to
make sure that it is working the way you want.
