Workshops will be held during both Spring semester and Summer. There are many content tracks, offered at various dates, to meet your needs. The traditional summer workshops are generally three consecutive days. This year, Spring Alternative Workshops are similar in content to their summer versions, but are conducted in seven two-hour blocks between February and late-March. The Spring Alternative is offered primarily to those faculty whose research, teaching or travel plans preclude participation during the summer, but is available to all faculty. Please note that full participation in either the Spring Alternative or the Summer Workshops will fulfill the FDI requirements to receive a computer.

All of the summer workshops will meet from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. A morning coffee break and lunch will be provided. Track C, D, F, G, K, L, M, N, O, R, W,and X spring Alternative Attendance Sessions consist of seven (7) two-hour activities scheduled during the spring.

If you have a schedule conflict with your preferred workshop, please contact Karen Gray @ 231-7636 or fdi@vt.edu.
